Logistics Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Amsterdam

A job as a Logistics Administrator with JBC includes:

  • Stock management at our warehouses in NL and Fr
  • Functional management of Warehouse Management System (WMS) in cooperation with IT and operational staff
  • Using and functional co-management of other systems (webshop, Bizz-E, B2B-portal, Xero financial system)
  • Managing the fullfillment of export orders (administration, invoicing, correspondence with customer and freight company and co-ordination of production and delivery) – mainly to the USA
  • Logistics planning, coordination and support during sales promotions
  • Flexibility to respond to and resolve any unusual situations or problems
  • Monthly ‘system’ stock counts and quarterly ‘physical’ stock counts at our warehouse in NL
  • Provision of performance data and other monthly reporting in co-ordination with the Finance Administrator

We are looking for a candidate that:

  • Works & thinks on MBO+/HBO level
  • Has both Logistics and commercial knowledge and experience
  • Can work as an integrated part of a dynamic team
  • Has verifiable experience in fulfilling a central role between clients, supply partners and own company
  • Is experienced in the use of general computer systems
  • Is very experienced with Microsoft Office programs, but especially all the functionality of Excel. (This will be tested!)
  • Can produce a range of reports including stock and sales data on both monthly basis and on request
  • Speaks and writes Dutch and English fluently. Being able to do this in French and German would also be a benefit
  • Living in Amsterdam or direct surroundings
  • Good natured, hard working, committed to completing tasks, team-player, communicator, willing to take initiative and work in the best interests of the company!

What we offer:

  • Salary: from €15/hr to €19/hr (gross) depending on education and experience
  • Holiday: 20 days per calendar year (pro-rata)
  • Hours: initially 24hrs-28hrs leading to 40 hours per week (to be discussed)
  • Flexible working hours are also possible (to be discussed)

Contract Status:

For the successful candidate, to start we will offer a contract for 6 months. Followed by a 1 year contract, followed by a permanent contract.
This is dependent on good performance and meeting job role targets. Assessments will take place every 6 months.

Social Media & Marketing Internship

The next internship will begin in February 2019. 

The Social Media & Marketing Internship includes:

  • Manage social media channels & create content for blog and social media channels. It means you’ll get to come up with your own ideas and make them happen! 🙂
  • Monitor and interpret our performance on social media through marketing tools like Google Analytics
  • Oversee a team of translators: prepare briefs and manage communication with the translators
  • Assist with preparing press releases, manage communication with external parties: designers, press agencies, bloggers
  • Additionally, assist with a range of marketing activities, events and promotions, e.g. the preparation of the Amsterdam Coffee Festival!

Our future Social Media & Marketing intern has the following skills:

  • Preferably Master’s or Bachelor’s student in Marketing, Communication or PR
  • Preferably Dutch speaker with a fluent command of English (both verbal and written), French is a plus
  • S/he is creative! During the internship, you’ll get to bring to life your own ideas
  • Loves social media and has a good understanding of how they can contribute to building brand awareness
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
  • Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge
  • WordPress and HTML
  • Use of Mailchimp for email marketing
