Chemical Free coffee. A classic high-grade Colombian bean, full of chocolate notes and light herbal aroma, medium bodied and mildly acidic. Full of flavor, but without the caffeine!
Coffees decaffeinated through the Swiss Water Process (chemical free) are different in that the technology does not use any kind of chemical agent to extract caffeine from the beans. The chemical free decaffeination process relies on osmosis and solubility characteristics of coffee beans.
Decaf coffees are sometimes associated with a metallic aftertaste- you’ll find none of it in our Colombia decaf bean. The chemical-free decaffeinating process preserves all of its unique flavours to give you a smooth, medium bodied drink, low acidity with subtle herby notes and light chocolatey aftertaste. A pure delight among decafs!
