The nice thing about this recipe is that it’s not only very delicious, but also very easy to make. You only need 3 or 4 ingredients and it will impress your friends (or colleagues) for sure!
Unpack the cookies, eat one or two, but not too many. (This is why you should always buy 3 packs of oreo cookies by the way.)
Break the cookies in pieces and put them in the blender or foodprocessor. Crush the cookies into fine crumbs and place it in a bowl. Add the Monchou and mix it with the crumbs until it’s well blended.
Roll the cookie mixture into small balls and put them in the fridge until they’re firm. Tip: don’t make them too big!
In the meantime: place the chocolate over a pan with simmering water (au bain Marie) and allow it to melt, stirring from time to time. Prepare the baking paper on a plate- you’ll put the oreo balls on it later.
Place the oreo balls one by one in the melted chocolate to coat. Roll them around if necessary. You can do this with one or two forks. Lift the truffle from the chocolate using the forks (this will allow the excess chocolate to run off) before placing them on the baking paper. Now you can put some sprinkles on it. Remember, everything is better with a few sprinkles, so don’t be too careful with them!
Refrigerate the Oreo truffels until they’re firm. That’s about 1 hour. If there are any leftovers, store them in the refrigerator.
EASY!
