Jones Brothers Coffee Company, an independent and dynamic Dutch coffee brand. We have been brewing coffee happiness in Amsterdam since 2013. We are on a mission to deliver ethically sourced, Premium and Specialty-Grade, whole bean coffees and compostable coffee capsules. We sell across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, and beyond, through our online webshops, e-commerce platforms, grocery delivery services and traditional retailers. Where you come in: We are currently looking for a coffee enthusiast to join our team as a Social Media & Content Creation Marketing Intern. An opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience in a creative and fast-moving fun work environment. Bring your theoretical knowledge of marketing and put it into practice. You will improve your skills in areas like social media marketing communications, influencer marketing, and paid media. You will assist the Marketing Manager in achieving the strategic goals of the company and the marketing department. You will be in charge of a broad set of responsibilities and tasks and work in the team as well as independently.

Responsibilities: Optimise e-commerce platforms for improved user experience and performance. In your full-stack responsibilities, you will: • Manage multiple social media channels, specifically Instagram and Facebook. • Come up with creative concepts for social media, plan the monthly content & execute the posts. • Research and report on social media best practices to keep us up to date. • Monitor and interpret our performance on social media. • Assist in the content creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns & promotional activities. • Manage relationships with designers and agencies ensuring material is delivered on time and to our standard • Create marketing content for our blog including copy, photography, and video • Assist with creating emails for promotional activities and campaigns • Assist with managing communication and relationships with external parties such as influencers and bloggers • Provide support for our website optimization and development • Implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics • Monitor Google Analytics and make reports of achieved results

About you: You are currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or Business university degree. Based in Amsterdam and willing to work on-site at our office in the Pijp. We prefer if you are a native Dutch speaker, but require you have PERFECT command of English (both verbal and written). You have strong Microsoft Office skills, familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, preferably. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. You are a self-organised and autonomous individual with a willingness to learn, creative thinking, and a proactive, initiative-taking approach. You possess a motivated and positive attitude, are savvy with systems and social media apps, and are data-driven and detail-oriented. Additionally, you have a strategic focus with strong critical and analytical thinking skills. You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.. Understanding of security best practices for web development. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

You will have a paid internship with a compensation of €600 gross per month. You will work in an open environment where your ideas and creativity are encouraged. You will receive guidance with and focus on e-commerce management (including webshop, subscription, and e-commerce platforms) and social media channel management. You will have the ability to work across various business projects and contribute your ideas to all our marketing activities. You will also receive coffee training and an introduction to marketing in a small company, the working world, and the coffee industry. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on individual projects with guidance. This is a paid position.
