In homage to the legend of Kaldi and his dancing goats who discovered the wonderfully uplifting affects of the coffee bean in Ethiopia over 1000 years ago, this is our 3rd year harvest for our Horny Goat Ethiopian coffee.
We are super-stoked to have found a new producer in Sidamo, Ethiopia that we hope to establish a long term relationship with.
Once again, there is that funky floral aroma so typical of natural process specialty coffee from Ethiopia. This complex cup delivers a sweetness of ripe plum. A heavenly, juicy body and a low to medium acidity delivers a beautifully balanced cup.
Ethiopia is my benchmark coffee. My favourite region. It never disappoints. Our Horny Goat coffee tells the story of the richness of natural coffees from Ethiopia. This perfect example of a Sidamo coffee delivers that added funkiness we love, the juiciness we crave and the earthiness we can’t believe. Complex, dynamic and bursting with fruit and biscuit-y flavours. It works as a powerfully flavoured espresso and a textured and fruity tea-like filter drink.
